Heading out to dale hollow for a nights worth of fising. Will post a report when I get back.
Hope you did better than I did. I fished Sulphur Creek (mainly) sat. night from about dark until around 2:30. I only managed a meager six fish which I guess was better than nothing. All were 12"-14" LM, except for one extra small smallie. Fish came off points and rock bluffs in 15-25 feet of water on jigs and worms. If you or anyone else need a partner to split cost for a night trip to dale i'd be interested. I fish Norris/Laurel/Cherokee mainly and hadn't been on Dale in a number of years. I'd like to go with someone that knows more about the lake than me, or i'd be willing to take someone. I can go on most week nights which i'd prefer due to boat traffic, but am willing to go on weekends. I'm in London, KY. Thanks
Well We fished Sat night and I fished with one guy who had not fished the lake in years and my Dad and brother fished in another boat. We ended up catching 12 bass all together. I caught a 4.2 smallie around Goat Island In Grass and I caught another one around hendricks creek. Then my buddy caught a 2.9 smallie, a 2.8 largemouth, and a little smallmouth. Fishing was a little tough but we found a few fish. My dad Caught 2 nice ones. He Caught one 5.2 and a 4.6 and my brother caught a largemouth 3.8 and another small laremouth on tubes. All Of our fish come off of plastic Craws, THe same thing we used last week when we caught a bunch of good ones. OHHH yeaa.... There is a fish Swimming around According bluff( I dont know how to spell it) with a sore lip from a white rico . SHE WAS A BRUTE!!!!!!!!!!! NICE FISH, But the big ones always get away. Water temp averaged 83-85 when we first got there. Fish were deep.... 20-35ft of water, I guess finding grass is the way to go right now. Bigger fish come out of grass. Good luck to everyone. Cant wait untill the 29th of this month, it will be a full moon and I will be on the lake At dale.
