Carl probably got his start by practicing on the boy scout troop I was in back in the late sixties when he was a grad student at EKU. Dr. Sexton (dean of industrial technolgy) probably roped him into it.Had many hilarious tails spun by the campfire and will never forget running into him on campus in the seventies as a student while he was teaching at EKU. Some of my friends were fortunate enough to take one of his classes on my recommendation and said they never had a college class as funny or as interesting. I was not able to ever arrange a class with him unfortunately.
