    Lightbulb Wierd Fish Fact!

A Freshwater Drum Fish (White Perch) has two flat pieces of bone, behind the eyes, inside the skull that has a clear number carved into the bone! Try it and let em' dry...mine had a 5 and another had 2. My Dad has a 6 and a 7. Wierd!!!!

I've heard from a great uncle that they also have a pearl inbetween those hard bones.

We used to fish for the drum/white perch when I was a kid, and I can't ever remember finding one of those either. I wish I had known about both the numbers and the pearl back then. It would have been quite interesting.
