Fished Elkhorn Yesterday

Took the old junkie boat down Elkhorn from G-Town, it took a lot of trying before we actually found fish.
Caught several small Redeyes, and ended up with two real nice largemouths and one decent smallie.
I love that creek, does anyone know how far Elkhorn runs North out of Georgetown along 460?

North Elkhorn meets with South Elkhorn about 3 miles east of Frankfort in a small settlement known as The Forks of Elkhorn where both creeks come together and then flow to the Kentucky River.

It only hits along 460 once out of Gtown. No access at all in that area. There are a couple of ramps. Once at Great Crossing and one above Robinson Dam. After that it snakes out in the Wilderness all the way to the forks. A good 25+miles from Robinson.

Thanks guys, I wade fish Elkhorn out of Lexington quiet a bit. Now that I'm able to hit the deeper holes with the jon boat I enjoy seeing new water.
