I believe this is a good time to do some night fishing, I'm thinking about some poppers and jitterbugs.
Do you guys have any luck with these at night?
I'm going back to the creek soon.

small poppers and any surface or floating lure making a wake will work but watch your your step a creek at night is a whole different creature than in the day time roots, rocks, holes, and even critters that you won't see or hear in the day time can make it a long walk to the car at night. friend of mine gave up the tip of his little finnger when that ten pound bass turned out to be a four pound loggerhead, one dark moonless night on a louisiana creek. have fun and take my advice get a head light and a head net to keep the bugs out of your eyes and off of your skin.

yea night in the creek is a little different. The fish are still gonna bite but like poppy said its a whole different creature. i have found that fishing right before dark is very productive. those same baits are great along with soft plastics (my personal fav.) just be careful, not only is it very dark but you also have a bunch of different critters out that arn't around during the day.
Thanks for the advice guys, I'm waiting a few days since all the rain. I'll be using a headlamp, and fishing with a friend, so hopefully all goes well.
I'll post a report on the trip when we get it done.
