First let me say I am not associated with or do I know the folks that own this store. With that said, I went in to a local pawn and gun shop here in Glasgow, it is located in South Gate Plaza behind Pizza Hut. I go there because these guys get a lot of clearance items in. Do not go there thinking it is a Bait and Tackle Store, they may or may not have what you are looking for. but what they do have is at very low prices. Now back to the main point I went there this morning and they had a rack with 10 or 12 ugly stick rods mounted on penical bases these rods felt very good in the hand and they had several different lengths and weights. some were just 14.50 some were 24 dollars. Now I know everyone wants those high end super rods but for the money these were some very nice rods, and one is going to be carrying my ultra light shimano reel to Cumberland river next week and see what the rainbows think. So If your coming thru Glasgow stop in and check them out. I got 3 packs of power worms for three bucks one afternoon, they do get name brand lures and sell them for less than half so what have you got to lose five minutes.
