If you go to the first bay south of Little Bear on KY, there is a ton of vegetation in the water, I mean it is THICK. This is on the end of the lake you are looking for and I saw a guy pull a couple of fish out of the water and into his live well in about 15 minutes of fishing early in the morning skimming a frog over the geen stuff.
