After a slow couple weeks the main river was on fire this evening.Got to my spot at about 7 and by quater till nine had already caught 7 decent hybrids,biggest being about 4 pounds or so.I left and they were still hitting.All caught on 3 inch twisty tail grubs and got one i never got to see on a silver buddy[thx Clyde]....John.

Its been hit or miss but alway good for 2 or 3 this year.Spot really doesnt matter to much,just find some swift moving water with a 10 to 20 foot drop off real close to it and cast in to the fast water and slow it down so it drops in the deep water.Thats what i been doing anyway.Dont even bother with the warm water discharges, they stink this time of year.Good luck all.John...........p.s.There was a heck of a good sauger spawn this spring.
