My buddy and I are possibly planning a night trip to Nolin saturday night lookin for crappie or white bass.
Any tips or pointers anybody wanna share?
We usually fish around Brier but are considering goin farther up river/lake. Maybe to Wax.
I don't want your honeyhole location but anything else would be great.
I was told small jigs or minners. Sound right?
Thanks in advance, Brutus

Havnt fished like that in a few years, but we used to anchor off of a point or wall where the creek channel turned in close to the bank, and float our lights till the baitfish started circling in the light. We usually had minnows, and would let them down to the bottom and start reeling them up very slowly untill we located the depth the fish were at. Sometimes the action would be fast and then would taper off, but as long as the baitfish are there the fish will usually come. Good luck.
I dont know about the lake but the river is full of bait fish! The water looks like it is boiling till you get close to the (balls) of shad, all sizes.
