Sounds like someone looking for honey holes for their next time out on their own. Might even be fishing against you the next time as well, you'll pull up to your spot and this boat will already be camped on your spot.

But some people are truly looking to learn as well and are looking and seeing how guys with more experience are doing and learning from that... Take it for what it's worth, they see you as a better than average fisherman and are following you around not only to learn the lake and it's good spots but watching how to fish a particular area of the lake....
