    Re: Falls of the Ohio?

    Hey.

I don't fish the river that much any more, but when I do get down there, I'm either fishing below the interpretive center from the bank, or back by the bend, or sometimes I take my red Old Town Canoe, but ONLY when the water is down..ha, ha.

When not paddling, wading, or bank fishing, I usually put in at Harrison. I have a 19ft Tracker with 135hp 4-stroke, which works GREAT in the river, but it doesn't help me catch fish .

    Later,

    Geo.

Hey Doug any guy that can land an IGFA world class line record on the banks of that river I wouldn't count out. 80 pound blue on 12lb line. That's no BS either, documented fact, not bad huh.

    Re: Falls of the Ohio?

Sounds good Doug I'm taken my puddle jumper up to the upper dam tomorrow to see if a big flat or blue took up residents in one of my holes out of whiskey shute...sometimes a big ole flat hunkers down in the sunk barge and with the water up and down last week some might still be there! Thats one good thing about my little boat she floats in about 8 inches of water and thats about all I'll have in some places gettin up there!! I'll get with Mark and we'll figure out a good time for all of us...It sounds like the 3 of us might give your ranger a run for it's money on the beer to gas ratio lol....Chuck
