Greenup Dam

Going to visit some family in Greenup and planning on having a morning to fish behind the dam at the end of this week. Anyone been out there and done any good at all? I hear the hybrids have been turning on as of late, but you never know when that will switch off. any info would be great, its been over a year since i have been out. thanks

i was bass fishing there in july and never had a bite!

I'd be fishing right from the bank at the dam. normaly you see a few boats out before the bouys, id always thought they were after the hybrids or the whiskers. i had heard that you can get into bass pretty good at certain times of the year, looks to be a great smalljaw area. But I'm targeting the ol hybrids and stripers that head up that way.
