Went to Nolin Saturday morning, started right at daybreak at Moutadier, fished a buzzbait around the dock and the rip rap around the dock, ended up catching 3 with on being a keeper, lost 2, which were decent size fish, they werent blowing up on them, kind of just sucking them in, hard to know when to set the hook. After the sun came up rode to Brier Creek, starting flipping jig,s, and we tore them up, probaly caught 20 bass between us, only about 5 keepers, but the action stayed hot all the way till noon, could not believe it, we were flipping around wood, and rock bluffs, all fish came in between 2' and 8'. Around noon went to a point, caught one keeper right of the bat, then missed 2 more, it was weird both fish that i missed hit the crap out of a 10" worm, set the hook, missed, and pulled back a piece of worm about 3" long, must not of had the whole thing in their mouth, but i never had a fish hold on so tight, that it ripped the worm in half. The point had a lot of stumps on it, and the fish hit about 18'. Overall a great day of fishing, didnt think we would catch that many. Probaly best 5 would of weighed 9 or 10lbs. We got out of there about 1:00. Not many people on the water at all.
