Does anyone in the Louisville area know were you can dump a junk boat at? Legally of coarse. Thanks
what kinda boat is it, and whats left on it....
It's a 17 1/2 ft procraft bass boat; it currently sits on a matching trailer and also has a mercury on it, there listed below for sale. Nothing much will be left on it, I'm taking off everything I can jackplate, trolling motor etc
use it for structure and send us the GPS coordinates... :-)

Did you buy it from a body shop in shepherdsville? I`m looking for gauges, hinges,,screws,,,ect
Nope I have owned the boat for 3 years and kept it in storage on Barren River. I wasnt able to use it the last 1 1/2 due to work then I just recently brought it home to get it up and going until I found the hull damage. The carpet is only 3 years old and it has all the orginal gauges, lids, hinges etc. I just took off the motor and controls and trolling motor. Call me if your interested in seeing it, you can have the boat if you have a way to get it or you can buy the trailer it's sitting on or if you have something to trade me for I might be interested? I've bought a new boat in the last few weeks so it has to go or I'm dumping the boat at the dump. Thanks (502)419-5637
DMurphy....
Does the boat leak at all? I see you say there is some hull damage.
The reason I ask is I may let you dump the boat here at our farm. I'm a couple of hours from Louisville. I would love to have an old bass boat with nothing on it, except a trolling motor, batteries for TM, and a fish finder. We have about a 100 acre lake, and 12 acres on our land with one of only two accesses. The total lake is on private land, and doesn't have public fishing. Currently there has only been one person to fish the lake with a boat, that being the guy that bought the 6,000 acres from Peabody. Anyway, if the boat won't sink, I may let you dump it here. then of course I'll add what I need to fish the lake.
Thanks DMurphy, I look forward to your reply. You can also email me at [email protected] also.

Thanks D!!! I know onemorecast.... LOL... he'll have that boat water worthy and sell it and make a fortune... for sure! LOL
I don't have the means right now to spend the money on a second boat, and like I said, I just need something I can put a TM on and leave it on the lake back in the field. I'd remove the TM and battery, but leave the boat sitting on the bank.
My father-in-law has a ball on the front of his tractor, but I can't get him to agree to launch my Triton in the lake... LOL... even if we did, it wouldn't be practical to do that very often.
We just got some land (inheirantance) and it has an old tri-hull sitting on the ground. This winter when I can get through the weeds and ticks... LOL, I am going to check out that boat.
Doug, good luck with that boat. I know you will know how to work on it.
Danny
