I just watched UMF from Monday night, that may have been the best show yet, as far as just two good guys fishing. Any one have any idea how much the big fish Larry Nixon caught weighed? If they said, I missed it.

I agree. It was the best one yet. Last week was not bad either but this weeks was better. Two legends going at it and none of that line biting or trying to cause someone to lose a fish by turning the boat. Just two good old boys fishing. It was a shame that Zell lost that big fish at the boat. It would have been alot closer. If I had to guess on the weight of Larry's fish I would say high five or low six. They never said how much it weighed but it was a hawg.

I met Larry Nixon, and he is as nice in person as he seems. Took the time to talk to my wife and I, and actually had a very good sense of humor. Although he was awful quick to put his arm around my wife to take a picture with her.

I agree, that was the best show I've seen so far. Both men showed the greatest respect for one another. It was great, and it was fun. They both had fun in a clean way.

I just watched the show last night as well and thought the same as you guys did. Just a great day of fishing by both guys. Would have been nice if Zell would have gotten that big fish and got himself in as the alternate to fish in the semi final rounds. Now I just would like to see Boyd Duckett put a monster spanking on Luke Clausen next week......
