Strohmeir fish camp??

anyone know if strohmier's is still in business? if so could I get my bass boat in? would like to fish that hole of the KY river

I think it is now called Stillwater Campground. I was down there about a month ago but did not see the boat ramp. A friend of mine told me there is a great boat ramp on the same road as Ky river campground, which is in the same pool, up river from Stormeirs. I know there is a boat ramp at Stillwater, it,s acually in Elkhorn Creek near where it dumps into the river. They also have canoe rentals.

Steele Branch Ramp, much better than the one at Strohmeiers.
