    Stoner Creek conditions

Could ANYONE please tell me if either ikes or Frymans pool is still coverd in duck weed? I know that doesn't mean it is not fishable, but my dad seems to think that, and doens't want it on his boat or on his line. i don't really blame him, i just am trying to save him a trip and the disappointment if shes still in bad shape. thanks in advance.

Sometimes I'd consider setting my boat on fire for a 5 pound bass, so that's an easy question to answer.

A little duckweed and snotgrass never hurt nobody! Charge the battery, give your trolling motor a pep-talk, and bring the frogs.

    Get-R-Done.

I'm ready for the frog bite! Might even say the heck with the pre-fishing for the Classic!

ME 000 fellas i would love to go and give the ol toad a throw at stoner, unfortunatly my dad is coming off a tuff year with a bad shoulder, and more than anything just doesn't want a hassle. He has been an UL fisherman his entire life and has enough trouble throwing the 4" worm and getting a good hookset. Not to say that he hasn't thrown a frog at stoner and caught nice bass before. Hes just trying to recover.
SO does that mean that the water in both pools is fairly covered?

    Re: Stoner Creek conditions

Im not sure if i will get to see the creek at all, my dad has two days this weekend that he wants to fish and so either tomorrow and/or probably sunday. but like i said, he just doesn't have the strength he needs to, to wrestle with somewhat difficult conditions, and as much as he would LOVE to catch a stoner hawg, i do beleive he is also not in any condition for that either, especially on the tackle that he enjoys and prefers to use.

Supersprint do you know how big of a drink the creek got? was it considerable or just a little bit?

As of 8am this morning, the gauge hadn't moved, so I'd say it probably wasn't too significant.
