Rough River Information

Anyone been fishing at Rough? What is the bite like if any and any information on patterns or baits not spots. Thanks in advance

The last two weekends the bluff walls and channel bends up the river have produced for me. Most fish have been on jigs and brushhogs(watermelonseed) with some earily sammy and buzzbait bites. If you go this weekend watch out for the pleasure boaters and jet skis they'll be in out full force, and don't forget to give us a report!

Worm1,Thanks for the report but I went Sunday and caught several small fish but no keepers anyway again thanks for the information and I tried topwater and shakey heads but just couldn't get a keeper bite maybe if I could have had more boats out there to get a little wake on the water may have helped lol!!

Yeah, I'll bet that place was a zoo!! What areas did you fish? I've had some good fish on a shakey head paca craw near Axtel and Licking Creek. We'll be heading down the next 2 weekends hopefully the LM will pick up a bit. It would be nice to get on the water in some light rain, but i'm not that lucky.
