    Ultimate Match Fishing...

Kelly Jordan and Larry Nixon put on a clinic of Ledge Fishing Monday night. So good that Nixon lost with over 19lbs. It would be really good to see the entire 8 hours of fishing with these 2 for there is no telling how many fish they caught between them. Pros are Pros for a reason and every time I see a show like this, it really lets me know how far down the amateur ranks I am. If you did not get to see it, then set the DVR to tape the re-broadcast over the next week for it is something to watch. Whomever wins between Luke and Boyd will certainly have their hands full with Jordan in the finals. The funny thing is that I bet neither Luke or Boyd has one of those huge spoons in either of their bag that Jordan is slaying them on. You can bet I will have a couple in my bag for my ledge trips next year to Ky and Barkley.

Kelly Jordan was using the same huge hammered Silver spoon that he used in the previous round. My guess is 5 inches long or so with single treble hook off the bottom. It was not weedless with that big treble to say the least. Joe Thomas called it a "Saltwater" Spoon, it was BIG to say the least. My guess is he is trying to imitate a big Gizzard Shad as he was Stroking it off the bottom. Thomas as one point in last nights show said he caught 5 fish in the first 5 cast on his spot. Nixon was using a Brown Football head jig and never threw a spoon that they showed.

Awesome match for sure! Hats off to those two guys! They did some excellent work. Jordan was smokin in that 3rd quarter.

Boyd was not in it last year show and I thought the Luke/Boyd show had not aired yet so you must have future news. Can you give me some future results of football games, horse races, lottery numbers and such so I can make enough money to RETIRE and fish all the time?
