Hey Danny, Dennis here. I have owned a couple of Rossi's over the years, my daughters is a 6inch full underlug 357 with pachmar grips. it is a fantastic weapon it can shoot a lot better than I am able to, she on the other hand at a 10 yard target can put 6 in a 1 inch hole she can do a head shot at 25 yards using Hornady law enforcement ammo. This pistol is equal to the Smith and wesson it is designed after. Also their after perchase service is great too. after a quick fire match I realized something did not feel right on the last 2 shots I was shooting UMC 38 specials and the next to the last round had a partial misfire the bullet lodged in the barrel, but in the heat of the competion I fired the sixth round on instinct instead of brain power I thought #5 was clear well it was a hell of a kick but both bullets went down range. I still did not realize what all had happened until later that evening when I went to clean the weapon that I found the barrel had bulged but not by much I then realized how close I had been to losing some body parts. Well after a few phone calls remmington ask me to mail them the weapon and the unused rounds that I had left. I did and in about 2 weeks Remmington sent me a letter saying that they were not responsible in any way for what happened to the weapon, but they would send the firearm back to Rossi and a new barrel fitted at their cost. Three weeks later we recieved the gun back in the mail and it had a brand new barrel, they had disasembled and detailed every last piece of the weapon and even replaced a spring that had a small amount of rust on it and the even shipped the old spring back just so I knew they had done so. They also knew from our conversation on the phone when they first recieved the weapon, that it was a birthday gift for my daughter, so the master smith cleaned and polished the action and adjusted the pull to 4.5 double action and 2 lbs on the single, he even left a note to her about why he left it at 2 pounds when he could have went lower, he told her he had seen one too many want to be cowboys going to the emrgency room after tryig to quick draw and thumbing the action., so a great weapon at a fair price and good service might not make you look like a super star with a new Smith 500 or a desert eagle but when old school puts steel on steel and new school is still trying to find a site picture well give me old school.
