There is grass on Barkley...just not as much as on Ky....the further south you go the more there is...more niad than anything.

Hey Dave,
In my original post about Barkley I mentioned that it seemed over in and around Mammouth Furnace Bay, I got some grass on my lure, and some grass wrapped around my prop.
Have you seen much grass in Barkley?
It was a different kind of grass from the milfoil and hydrilla I've seen over in south KY.

south bark has niad scattered all over the place, hell, linton bay has it stacked in there and around the mouth. Not worth much though, just that crappy niad, the fish won't really get in it, some may use it where its the thickest to trap bait up against it, but its not really thick enough on barkley to even do that so right now it doesn't serve much purpose over here. Well, thats just IMO, what do I know![]()
