Is it just me or has everyone forgotten all of the problems that Kentucky has had to deal with in the last 4 years. I have been watching the canidates and all they can come up with is casinos. What happened to health care, schools, finding industries to come to the state not drive them away. On one hand we had a promise of no more of the good old boy in Frankfort and 2 years later there more pardons floating around that a bean eating contest at a county fair. A national TV show highlighted a KY county as having a school libary with a 500 dollar budget for the whole school. What about our returning Vets what are we doing at a state level to support them other than lowering the flags when they don't come home standing up. I am mad at both canidates and I have contacted both campains and told them so. As a soldier I swore an oath to the Flag, our country to my chain of comand and to the people of the United States of America. I had to cut my military career short while on a training mission and I had my back broke, it took me nearly 13 years to get all of my beenifits that I was entitled to because I had earned them, with 8 years of service. I have spoken with many of our young men and women who are coming home disabled some are lucky and had recieved some kind of counseling about their bennifits, but many recieved no such help. want a to take a stand on a subject canidates hees some that count. Schools,Health care, federal and state care for disabled Vets. reasignment of money spent for luxury items for government officals. Reduce states auto fleet restrict the use of those vehicles, if state employees are found running errands, or buying liquor while driving a state vehicle wether or not it is for later consumption. No more closed bids let the public know why the same companies keep getting all of the contracts as soon as they are available.
