Put some water on the transducer next time you are in the water, It want take a lot, sounds stupid but a friend did it for years, about half gallon.

That will work. I had an older model flasher that would loose signal running down the lake unless I put some water in the hull.

Thanks guys. I got up the nerve to pry on the transducer and it came up way to easy, now Im gonna clean the area and epoxy it back down again.
