it is intresting to read about the native walleye stocking in the river up from barren to try to establish a population that was not there before. And read the the reports of stocking wood creek with the same strain of native walleye for those fish to maybe set up in their non native habitat. I would assume that they might do better from the drainage from where they came from as they were designed to do so from the get go. i do not know who made them in the first place but they seemed to do well before there was a dam on cumbrerland.
