Here's the URL for the KDFWR web site on the sauger stocking in the Kentucky: http://fw.ky.gov/060806b.asp
They also had a bumper crop of hybrids last year, and stocked extra in the KY and the Ohio. So I'm working on getting familiar with the KY's locks and dams, since right below them seems to be the best fishing. We went out Thursday but put in just above #2 (Lockport). My girlfriend caught one tiny catfish, so it wasn't a shutout. But who cares, idling out across that river with the mist streaming up from the surface was an amazing experience. I can't wait to go back, and will keep going if I never catch a fish, it's just sooo cool being out there. Next time, though, we'll put in by #3. From what i can tell from the maps and Google Earth, it looks like you can put in not far below the dam there?
