Any suggestions on cleaning up spilled Lunker Sauce (garlic), in carpet?
find someone close who cleans carpets they probably can help you out.
if not try a non bleach detergent or some rug doctor carpet cleaner for pet stains.mix it in a gallon bucket and soak it a little while and dobble it back up with a towel you don't want to get so wet it runs through the carpet and spreads.if you have a wet dry vac it works well.
Thanks, I'll give it a try.
if you don't get the smell out take extra lunch and snacks,i dumped a bottle out in my compartment and when i'd get a whiff of it i was ready to eat some

I know what you mean, right now it smells like they should be setting a plate down in front of me.
Bass Boat Saver. That stuff is amazing
Use vinegar. Ryan
Soft Scrub with bleach usually does the trick. The bleach is diluted enough that it won't hurt your carpet. Even laundry detergent with a nice scent should work the same.
Thanks to all, but I think we have it. A friend brought over some soap that hunters wash their clothes in to remove scent. I think that is going to do it, have to wait a see when it rains on the carpet again. I always knew those dang hunters should be good for something..lol.
Marine carpet usually cleans up pretty good. I made a mess adding oil, and had a big motor oil stain around my oil cap. I took it to the dealer here (I assume most big dealers have some way of cleaning trade-in's carpet) and it looked brand new. I was debating getting new carpet, But didn't need it. Just in case none of the other remedies don't work.
