Might try a double buzz against the bank for those Kentuckys. looking forward to fall and winter on Cland as well.

Got out on the water at ~9:30 today and left at 2:30. had exactly zero bites and hence boated zero fish! fished from conley down to norman hollow with most attention focused on main lake pockets. water temps in the 78 range this am and 80 by time i left. found a large school of spots and saw prob 8 keepers 12-15in but they would not bite anything. i felt like the ultimate junk fisherman as i rummaged from bait to bait. interesting that the spots would not bite but they also did not seem to bothered that i was trying to catch them. it was almost as if it were spring/spawn. they were going up and down the bank as if i was not fishing for them. weather was beautiful and boat traffic was light. no debris noted on water. the other interesting thing i have noticed is how many bluegill/bait c land is "holding" in the shallows. this is more than i have ever seen. it should be an awesome fall!

that is the one thing that i did not throw. they would not hit - spinnerbait, pop r, spook, grub, jerbait, crankbait, shakey head nor finesse jig. thanks for the tip. once fall really gets into swing, a buzz bait is hard to beat for spots!
dON,T FORGET them Charlie Brewer sliders in red with blue flakes-been in that spot a few years back -yes me and a brotherinlaw we could see them Kys down in the water --get those little ones to hit an them bigger ones move in lol
And the Mad Cow... LoL![]()
sliders are just finesse worms right ? i threw a shakey head with a finesse worm and they would not touch it. tried zoom finesse worm and flirt with no takers. it was maddening to see them swimming up and down the bank (but thankfully fish do not always bite when we want or there would be none left!) btw THANKS to the folks who replied. heading to dale hollow tomorrow and will post on friday.
