It took over 38lbs for first place and it took 17lbs to get a check, they paid back 12 places. I know this because I fished it and witnessed it all.

First night 5 smallmouth 17.43 leading. 5 other teams within 1.5 lbs. Second night, team that was leading had 4 smallmouth and 1 largemouth that weighed 20.47 lbs . total weight 37.90 first ,second was 33 lb third was 28 something.
