try running wolf creek with your electronics, find the drop off from the ledge on the south side of the creek bottom some where around the skull bluff area. if you do not find them in the deep areas work your way to the grass beds near rayburn point there are two points there with a long cove between them the grass beds are scattered but do hold fish most of the time and if there is a light wind from the north it is better there are remains of a farm stead directly in front of the first point not much there now but a few old timbers and some rock piles we build up every year we get a chance to. if no action there work the long narrow point on the east side of the cove. We have caught them on jigs and plastics in October, but if there is alot of bait fish a silver buddy worked along side of the banks can draw some pretty good fish. as with all things there are no guarantees but this has always got a few fish in the boat for me. I know that point fairly well it belonged to my Great grandfather the farm stead was his. The fence rows have all rotted out now but they were good areas when they were still there. A lot of good people gave up alot for us to have one of the greatest lakes in the world. it is a shame to see all of those million dollar houses going up on top of the hills.
Good luck and have fun.
Thanks alot man
