Anyone take a deer yet?

well, let's hear some reports. I took a doe last Thursday with my longbow. She wasn't real big, but she should taste fine. Anybody else released an arrow yet?

I have been out a few times and have seen several but nothing I am interested in taking just yet. Mostly does and fawns of all sizes. Fawns are ranging from tiny with spots all the way up to some big fawns with no spots. My release finger is getting a little itchy though, lol!

I could kill deer daily here,but prefer to hold out for my P&Y or B&C buck. Long about rutting time watch out!

Killed a doe 2 weeks ago Sat., the only cool weekend we have had so far with this hot weather I just cannot seem to get fired up about hunting except for that one weekend that is was cool. Did see a nice buck Sat. afternoon I ranged him at 105 yards feeding on some acorns, he just was'nt at the tree I was hunting.
