13 months & still waiting for answer.
Yes sir, it is finally finished as of last week. The lake is still a mess and going through turn over right now. My partner and I fished it hard this last Monday and came up with one small dink. in 8 hrs. We also saw several other anglers on the lake and no one else was doing any better. Severe cold fronts and a 6 degree temp drop on the water didn't help either. FWC has been on a spraying rampage down the canal and on the Withlacoohcee in both directions, so all the Bass have been push way back into the cover. I expect it will be late winter or spring before we see much improvement
Good Fishin Mate. Skee
Thanks skee,
Yeah I'd not given up. Had hopes of being there in the vicinity permanently by now but unfortunately still have a house on the market up north. I'm looking forward in catching some decent bass and huge specks. http://tours.tourfactory.com/tours/tour.asp?t=466627

Finally someone gave ya an answer .Unbelievable.You deserve to catch a 12 lber out of Lake Panasoffkee.
Sorry it took so long, but I just moved here myself. You know these boards only work if we all contribute freely. I tried to quite often, back up in IN., when I was there. But now I am here permanently, and I will be on a fishing rampage now that I am retired. I will be fishing the Panasofkee, Withlacoochee, and Lake Wier area quite a bit. I will try to post my results over on this forum or reports page if Peter will let me. If someone has or needs info, Post up and I will try to get back to you. Right now I am out of action due to some serious surgery, but I hope to be back into the boat by the new year. Good fishin mates. Skee.
Skee,
Hurry up and get well. Wait a minute. You're retired - no need to hurry doing anything. You've left IN and I'm trying like hell to get outa KY. Got a home in The Villages sitting empty. I'll be wearing the area out including the Harris Chain once we sell the house in KY. It'll be nice catching bass larger than 12" squeakers that I'm used to on the OH River but I will miss the crappies here in KY. I've slayed them in FL on the Clermont Chain before drifting white twisters in the middle of Lake Minniehaha this time of year.
I'm getting real impatient!!!

F-16 what part of KY are you in. I was right accross from Louisville. I now live about 9 miles south of Ocala. Maybe we can link up some time and fish.
