I switched to the BPS fluoro on several rods as well. Impressed to say the least. I use 20# bps fluoro for the main line on my c-rig with a lighter # leader of the same. Also switched one of my jiggin' combo's over to 14 or 15# BPS fluoro I believe (maybe 12). I really like the feel and lack of stretch. As for the spinning/finnesse outfits, I never use more than 8#. Seems to help with the line twist issue and improves casting distance. Also like the others said proper spooling direction and flipping the bail over manually really decrease the amount of twist. It only takes a few minutes to untie everything and let all the line out while idling to undo any of the twists that happen from a days worth of fishing. It could easily be done while waiting for your fishing partner to go get the truck and trailer if it's not too crowded @ the ramp. Hope some of this helps someone.
