Nice tips, something I already do, but also something nobody mentioned. Man a fouled bait will flat do some kinking won't it.I'm not a tackle snob, but the medium/higher end spinning reels are a little less prone to line twist.
When you got a fat girl on pulling drag, never reel. Reeling while the drag's being pulled will twist your line worse than anything.
When you finish a cast and crank it up off the bottom to the boat, it may roll and put a bit of twist in every cast. Depending on what you're throwing slow down at the end of casts.
If you're throwing a small crank and it fouls, crank hard with the rod tip high and skip it across the water back to you instead if letting it roll all the way back.
