When you got a fat girl on pulling drag, never reel. Reeling while the drag's being pulled will twist your line worse than anything.

When you finish a cast and crank it up off the bottom to the boat, it may roll and put a bit of twist in every cast. Depending on what you're throwing slow down at the end of casts.

If you're throwing a small crank and it fouls, crank hard with the rod tip high and skip it across the water back to you instead if letting it roll all the way back.
Nice tips, something I already do, but also something nobody mentioned. Man a fouled bait will flat do some kinking won't it.
