Wow I don't know what to say to you guys. pop told me you are really concerned about more than just the sport. You folks must have some good connections out there. At 6:30am this morning he woke up on his own and was wanting to know why he was in the hospital. His next question was where are the girls, the grand kids (they were spending the night Saturday before he was found out on Sunday morning). After telling him what had he siad he felt sore around his ribs but other than that he was just needing a gallon of ice water and some breakfast, he was ready to come back home.
The doctors, three of them, said they had never seen a guy out for that long to sit up and walk around and want to eat right off the bat. by noon he was all ready watching the clouds and the flags and planning on going fishing Saturday. He will come home tommorrow if his test come back clear. As for me I thank you all for your kind words and prayers Pop is a great guy but don't ever tell him I said that, it would mess up the father inlaw son inlaw game.
Thanks and God Bless

Thats great newsI'm happy for you and the family and I'm looking forward to reading his posts again.
Praise the Lord. That is great news. The Lord definately answers prayers. Let us know if there is anything else we can do.
Awesome news...![]()
Thank you for the update.
Obviously Big Poppy is deserved of the recovery. All our prayers are only as good as the person being prayed for. Obviously God realizes Poppy has more to do on this earth.
Hey, as far as the father-in-law, son-in-law thing, my Pop (father-in-law) is my best friend. Nothing at all wrong with admitting your love and care for your Pop.
Our family's prayers will continue, and I know if it is God's will, then the recovery will continue at a very rapid pace.

Great...I, as with all others look forward to reading more post from him.
That's great news. Y'know, Poppy has posted before about past near-death experiences, and about seeing the most beautiful river ever. Maybe this time he'll come back with some fish stories from the place!
Have been out of town this past week and missed this about Poppy....Glad to hear he is doing good.
Great news and thanks for the update...glad to hear he is coming back around. Take him fishing should get him back in the groove. Prayer is a stronger medicine than what most people realize.
