Hardy Lake?

If you are going in the morning keep an eye out for the wipers busting minnows. Got in to them this summer and had a ball. Most of them were not real big but you will think you've hooked a bus. For their size they were the hardest pulling fish I have ever hooked. I have also heard that they are catching them up to 8 pounds now so I can just imagine what kind of fight that would be.

Thanks for the input guys. Was a nice day to get out and it wasn't overly crowded. Kind of shocked to see how far down the lake is though. Only managed a couple of lil' baby bass. Few people said that they were catching a few crappie and a few bass scattered here and there, but nothing to brag about. The ones I found were definitely in the weeds and relatively shallow (~ 5 ft). Water temp was 72 and the water was stained, but not bad for Hardy in late "summer".

Nobody saw any sign of the wipers today :-(
