I agree thats a part of this board that alot of "nasty junk" slips through but i wonder why it doesn't get to this board?

It has a couple of times. I know I have sent alerts on at least two triple X SPAM messages from the main board.

The best thing to do guys is to hit the alert button and get the alert sent. Describe the problem, a link will be sent to every moderator and they can delete the problem post. If there is more than one, be sure to say so, as you can only send alerts every 20 minutes.

Some boards have a feature where you have to approve a membership before anyone can post or view.
Some have a view only, but you can post if you register(unapproved).


When you have a site like this that's Googled 1400 ways from Sunday, so advertised it will happen, and a discussion forum attached, this will happen.

It doesn't occur that much on the Creek Bank. We had a few. I just ban thier accounts.

Most boards I register for have you input some alpha-numeric combination of characters that are displayed at angles, and generally have a background that makes it difficult to see the displayed characters very clearly. Once you get that input correctly, you either get to choose your password, or you get an email with a password, that you must change as soon as you sign in.

Honestly, it's kind of difficult. I've had to enter the alpha-numeric combination more than once because I was unable to make out the numbers, and you have to use the correct case as well.

I don't know if this software has that option. As the administrator, I would imagine you can find it if it is there, probably under security.
