Re: What do you think of Marlin Rifles??

I don't know if Quackerstacker works there or what his affiliation is,he lists his residence as Murray,Ky and I'm pretty sure he's more like 40ish? I do know his email was listed as [email protected] and it wouldn't go through.

Now for the original topic before I hijacked Danny's thread,I have owned several Marlins over the years,at least 2 -.22's one of which I still squirrel hunt with, and 2 - .3030's that were okay for short range hunting here in Ky,but I'd never consider replacing one of my Remington bolt actions with one,for what your intentions are you should be fine.

Re: What do you think of Marlin Rifles??

Thanks Kyfanatic on the advice on Marlins. Mine won't be used for over 100 yards, my eyes are getting worse by the minute.

Here's the number for Uncle Lee's, and make sure you talk to Lee Fauntleroy, he is the owner of the store, and is a good guy. I've talked with him several times. Anyway, here's the store's number, give ol' Lee a call and see what he says: 270-338-5866.

From what the other guy says, it sounds like Lee probably outsources the operation of that site, and as such has little to do with it. However, he should know if someone is giving him such a bad name. I'll let you handle it but will alert him there is a guy on here talking about the moderator at the site being a little... uhmmmmm I'll let you pick the adjective.

I just called Uncle Lee's, and found out Chad Walker is in charge of all internet operations. He said to call 1-800-388-9464 ask for Chad Walker, give him your user name, and the moderator that banned you, and he would look into it.

BTW, Lee is out in Missouri until Monday, and will be back then, but I would try Chad first.

I hope this helps you out.

    Danny
