MHall,
The Flathead I caught it on a rattletrap with 10lb test line bass fishing. It probably weighed over 60lbs. I had it tied up to a dock overnite and weighed it at the Spring City Post Office the next day. It was the only scale in town to weigh it on. Sent it in to Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame and came back a World Record for Catch n Release for Flathead catfish. Surprised the heck out of me.

Have to say was trying to figure out how you had caught and released it but weighed it the next day....thought you had it trained to come back..... Thanks for the clarification...MHall,

Good job, them ole flats will eat them artificial lures as they are primarily live bait eaters. I know that was a fun ride on 10lb test, yeehaa.MHall,
