Hey fellas. Woody is recovering from hernia surgery. He had the operation yesterday and all went well. It looks like he is on the shelf for a while. I can only hope for a speedy recovery and good Lord willin he won't miss all of float n fly season again this year. Cliff

Give Elwood my best, for I sure hate to here he had to go thru surgery again. Seems like he just can't catch a break. We will be praying for a speedy recovery and hopefully he can get back on the water soon. Anything else we can do let us know. Keep us updated.

Went down on my lunch hour and sure enough...He was in the hospital....Elnut Sr. was down there with him.
Called BJE and Big Gw on the speaker phone while I was down there.

Looks like he'll be laid up for a while. He's in good spirits, but it has to be disheartening.

thanks billy for the update. Next time you talk to him give him my best as well. I've only got to talk ol elwood over the phone but he is heck of a guy in my opinion. Always willing to give info or help newbies get started....board just to quite with elwood out.
