The reason I say that is that since there are no jet ski's, skiers or big cabin cruisers to cause a lot of wake it is safer than some lakes. I have a 16.5 bass boat with 85 hp and was at Dale Hollow last weekend and the tournament boats didn't bother me as much as the 5 ft. rollers coming of the cabin cruisers. One last thought for those who want it to go all electric how fast do you think you can go navigating through the trees.
Yeah, your right about it taking some time with just a trolling motor but there are three ramps which would help some. I would put up with some proactive ideas/restrictions on getting this lake to a true trophy status lake like it has been sold to everyone from the beginning. If idle speed helped get the hoards of fisherman down a little then maybe that's what they should do. Heck, i don't have the answer to what it would take but it sure doesn't look like it's going in the right direction to me. JMO
