Re: Cedar Creek hp vs electric motor

Wilgreen is idle only, does that solve the number of boats? NO it is fished as hard as cedar creek. if you want a calm day and no wake, go find yourself a pond. Unless there is an accident caused by running I could not see them changing the lake restrictions, and hope they would not change them.

I have no problem talking to my fishing neighbor while we fish, but I do have a problem talking to the bottom of his/her boat or over his/her head half the time.

I can see both sides of the coin on this one. I've haven't fished this lake near as much as some of you guys but I have been there a dozen or so times. I grew up about a mile from where the lake is now, back when it was just a creek and I was catching rock bass down at the old rr bridge. But I live alot closer to T-ville now so I usually end up over there. So anyone who fishes T-ville in the summer gets use to drive by wakes that knock you out of your boat. I've never had that problem at CC. If anything, and I think somebody else has already said this, I would leave the main lake alone and start a no wake zone somewhere around the tracks and into the main creeks. Just my 2 cents, which probably ain't worth that, LOL...

You hit the nail on the head!! Last time I was there I was fishing the tracks and several people approached on plane then dropped down and crused by making 2-3 foot wake, reminding me of T-ville, when it would have been better on us both of us if they stayed on plane. I'm all for no wake on the whole lake but 100 yards from the tracks on back would be best. JMHO

Not long at all. I was just directing that to the previous poster who seemed to suggest that it was better to navigate through the trees using the motor.
