I would look at fishing the American Bass Anglers. Check out www.americanbassanglers.com.
They have over 1100 tournaments in 40+ states. I know that there are some where between 6-8 districts in Florida. As a member you will be allowed to fish any ABA/AFT tournament in any district. Non boaters are always welcome.
If you are in the Leesburg area the week of Nov 4-10 check them out at the Harris Chain of Lakes. We are having our Nationals Championship there that week. Anglers from all aroung the country will be on the lake fishing for over $175,000.00 in a no entry fee tournament!
The American Bass Anglers is the largest tournament circuit for the weekend angler in the world. Check them out you will be glad you did.
