Ready for the water again! Barren?

I am finally ready to head back to the water but the reports on Barren have been far and few between. Has anyone been there since the cool down.

I just spent most of the week camping at Bailey's Point. We took some crawfish looking for Kentuckies. The crawfish wasn't the answer but we had some luck on tubes. Main lake points seemed to be the preferred areas. While fishing with the tubes, we caught two nice largemouth with the biggest going 5lb easy. Go light colors on the tubes.

Hey, Way to go!! I don't post much but glad you are ready to go get em.
I went last Saturday and it was pretty slow. Caught a few short fish in the creeks on cranks. Fished the main lake for a while and really didn't fare much better. Talked to a guy doing a creel survey and he said things have been pretty slow for the past week. Hopefully you'll do a little better.
