You can register for the do not call list via the internet if you are interested. If you signed up 5 years ago, you will need to reregister soon, as the original 5 years will expire early next year:

It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time
It blocks your number for five (5) years. Call from the number you want on the list.


The following is a way to opt-out and not receive any more pre-approved credit card offers in the mail:

You can stop those unsolicited credit card offers from flooding your mailbox. Just go to www.optoutprescreen.com or call 1-888-5-OPTOUT. Remember that if you signed up when the registry was instituted five years ago then you’ll have to reregister your name on the list. Your registration only lasts for 5 years.
