sorry..but I avoid it like the plague
Fishing is great there like always, its been a few weeks for me since Ive been but their biting. Everyone knocks that lake because they dont know how to fish it. Take your favorite jig and start fishing, or crank em in. Joe
Sorry I just saw the post. I went down yesterday afternoon from 330 to 730, caught 5 short and 4 keepers, (1 barely 15 inches, 2 were 3-4 lbs and a 6.4 lb hog) All shorties were caught on the main lake on spinnerbait under shad and the better fish came on a jig and a flordia rigged baby paca craw on one of my honey holes, which was covered with shad. None of my other spots produced but thats OK I had a great afternoon and the 6.4 is my best out of T-ville EVER!!
...You are right....I have fished that lake since it opened..I used to do pretty well..but not anymore..I think I really dont know how to fish it
Steve,
You have to find the waters that hardly anyone fish, I know thats hard to do but there is alot of places that have little pressure. It seems like the least likely places are where the fish are. Try to find flats, ledges, rock and brush piles or a combination of any and you'll find the fish, probably even a keeper. Don't forget about flipping jigs in the trees if you just want to catch some.

well things were a little slow for us yesterday... Only managed 2 fish.. one was about 13'' on a pop-r out in the middle of a big creek over some shad and the other was about a 17'' fish caught on a 10" worm once it was dark.. Baitfish everywhere makes it hard to pinpoint things in the lake bc it all "looks" so good.
yea..I really need to get out there more and do some research
