    I've been out there a couple of times this year looking for those shellcracker and also have read some of the reports, but have yet to catch anything but small bluegill, shellcracker and very small crappie (5-7 inches on the crappie) for the last three years. Those reports are originating from the baitshop owner BTW, so I generally take them with a grain of salt and head on to other lakes until something (panfish) is large enough to catch there.
