Nolin Ramps

Does anyone know if the Dog Creek ramp is still open or is it closed for the season. I can't remember the lake level at which they shut it down.

This may not be much help. I fished Dog yesterday (Sat) and did not see any vehicles or activity at that ramp. The lake is only down 3' and the bass are biting like crazy. On one point I caught 11 with 4 of them being on consecutive cast. I lost count but probably caught over 40 from 10:30am to 2:45PM. Down side was the biggest was 1.8 pounds...lol. I should have changed from the Baby Brush Hog to different baits to catch bigger bass but I was just having too much fun catching these 12" to 14" bass.

Lee, thanks for the response and report. I rarely see more that 4 or 5 rigs up there, and I think we are getting pretty close to shuttering her up for the season. I was there two week ago today, and the campground was closed

I may be wrong about it, but if my memory serves me both dog creek and Iberia stay open until the lake gets down to around 6 or 8 ft below summer pool. I think there is a date for that but I don't know what it is. It'll be around the 2nd weekend of november. Again I may be wrong but that's what I'm thinking.

It's open and in good shape. Launched there myself Sunday. A 20+ foot pontoon boat went in right behind me.
