Laurel?

Any reports? I was down about two weeks ago fished daytime and just caught a few Spots.

I fished Laurel this Friday/Saturday. Caught a few small ky's friday, with a few crappie up in the river. Saturday caught 8 total, ky's with a couple of smallmouth, not a keeper in the bunch. All of the fish came off main and secondary points on cranks and spinnerbaits. Saw a little shad activity in some of the creeks but nothing major. I talked to a couple of guys at the dock and they said they hadn't heard of anybody doing real well, i'd say Laurel is a good cool week or two away from being good.

Went today and caught some nice sized largemouth's up at marsh's branch in the stickups just past the boat ramp. They was hugged up near the banks. Flipped some finesse worms at them. All and all, caught bout 13 between 2 of us. All but 2 were keepers. Was in the morning.
