"....set your alarm for 2am, get up shower, hook up boat, break off ice from cover, drive to Dale Hollow, fish all Day until Dark with ZERO bites drive back home. A good 12 hours of travel time to and from, approximately 22 hours on the water with ZERO bites, maybe 8 hours sleep over 2 nights, easy $100 in gas money in truck and boat plus whatever else that I spent at the One Stop, ZERO BITES and could not wait to do it again the following weekend....TRUE STORY"

I think that should say "Priceless" instead of TRUE STORY...kinda like the Mastercard commercial

Until the real men get married and may have to explain the bale of hay that may end up in their shorts.

Good grief man! I'd hate to use hay, let alone a bale of it! Ouch! Ha ha ha!

I have a 2 car garage. It's perfect for the Boat, dirt bike, 4-wheeler, go-cart, and all of the Man-toys. You know how it is, don't want to leave these things outside the weather isn't good on them. Thanks for the ideas "artcarney" I'll have to look into getting a fridge and flat screen TV. Maybe surround sound so when I'm sitting in the boat it sounds realistic. We all will grow old, but I for one will never grow up! Just like a kid!

    Heck yeah!

When I do get a house and MY garage, I believe I'll put the boat in nose first for the winter - that way I can sit on my pedestal seat and flip at a coffee can under my workbench while watching reruns of Hank Parker, UMF, and FLW. Heck, come spring time I'll be all practiced up and ready for the picnic table pattern when the water gets up!

You Guys are killing me! I have to admit I kept my sportbike in my living room, and I have always kept my fishing gear dry and warm and ready to go.

Hey nuttin like standing in yer boat, practicin pitchin to a coffee can across the garage floor. Done it lots of times...The wife just gives me her usual stare or rolls her eye's...But hey I'm having fun. Learned how to use a spinning real and rod to pitch them shakey head worms up under them docks doin this method. Next will be learning how to skip those baits way up under those docks that don't never hardly see artyficial lure's. Got's to be a big ole Bass living up in that dark crevice you know......

As long as the house has a bed and kitchen, then that's good enough for me! Oh yeah, a bathroom helps, but it's optional...

You might be a fisherman if you have more than one boat, each for it's own "specific application": catfish/jugging boat, pond hopper, bass boat, stream boat/canoe
Hey i'm close to that but i have two motors instead of two boats. One for HP limited lakes and one for the other lakes. I keep my Harley, boat and both motors in my garage...no room for anything else!

Several years ago I got my first Bait cast rod and reel combo. (Christmas)Learned to use it in the house. Down the hall, under the table, flippin between the chairs, and even onto the counter scaring the piss out of the wife when she wasn't looking. Also using the coffee can pattern. If you can learn in a house with the wife yelling at you.............Tried to get my son to hold the plug in his mouth so I could imagine I was realling one in.(Is that wrong) He actually wanted to, but the wife.., lets just say she wasn't happy about it. No it didn't have a hook!

Do that with cat or dog if you have pet. It's much better cause they actually fight back for real.
