I agree with the college division. Florid would get their butts kicked fishing at Cumberland or Dale Hollow. Heck, just from the marketing aspect look at the new customer base that it would attract. Could you imagine getting a paid tuition for fishing. That would be like having a sponsor. I'll sign up now! As far as the WOMEN thing goes, it's B S. Black, White, Red, Yellow. It doesnt matter your skin color or gender! This pisses me off! I watched a special on tv I think it was last year, about a guy that only had 1 arm. Thats it! No legs, He had sponsors and was fishing on a top level. The fish don't know who is throwing the bait. Maybe in the womens division they adjust the points if they are on the Rag. Hey they are already having a bad day anyways. Or special time outs for restroom breaks. They want EQUAL but only on their terms. I'm sorry if I piss off any women out there. NO Wait I'm not sorry. Deal with it!

I agree, there should not be a separate division for women. Women CAN and do compete against men. As for restroom breaks, by God's design, women do need a little different accommodations for the nature call. I don't know if BASS gives women special time outs or not, but if so it's probably not necessary. While I am on that subject, some of you guys could be a little more modest and considerate about where you whip it out.

Thats so true, thanks for not getting pissed off. And I will admit it that Midol is the best thing ANY PERSON (M or F) could take for headaches and everything as far as I'm concerned. That's some good stuff! I'm sure that BASS has come up with a solution for the restroom thing. Just curious what the solution could be.??

The rules in the womens event reads "In the event of a needed restroom break, contestants are allowed to leave the boat, at which time all fishing must cease until partners are back together in the boat." So there is the answer to the bathroom deal.
Also I still dont understand the big deal that if the winner of the professional womens tour gets to fish in the classic is wrong then if you create a college bass league you think they should get to fish in the classic...a college league will keep people out of it that are not in college, is that fair?
I dont want to see it get to be 200 people fishing for it but one or two more spots should not matter....

I fished with a woman at Cumberland during the FLW Series and when I got in her boat she was pretty demanding. Either way she said " I have a coffee cup that I pee in, if I have to go." Then she said "And you'll turn your head away." She acted like I wanted to watch her Old a$$ peeing, either way I guess you learn to deal with it I guess if you can't you won't fish. Also I'm all for the college series, us college guys love this stuff and spend every last dime on fishing stuff rather than their girlfriends, I know that gets me in trouble
a llllooottt.... The deal of cost I don't think would be a big deal instead of payouts or paying out as much they could use it for team's room and gas. Cause like I said these guys just wanna go and fish, I think the biggest problem would be getting off from classes and keeping up with school.

It seems your missing my point on the matter...

In the men's side of the BASS circuit, they fish a minimum of 11 tournaments each year. The Federation guys fish a whole bunch more than that with a minimum of 12 Club tournaments, 5 qualifying Tournaments once they Qualify after the Club Tournaments and then the Classic it self. Then the Women fish 5 tournaments and the winner automatically qualifies for the Men's Classic..... The College kids have to fish several Club tournaments, qualifying Tournaments to get to the NCAA Championship Tournament, and then could qualify for the Classic as well.....

Here again it's down to the women's Champion having an easier road to make the Big Dance.... When in reality, Fishing has got to be the most evenly diverse Field of Participants there is. cause at any given time a Rookie all the way to the Most experienced Pro can win the Championship. It's been proven in the past.

So at least have it more equal and have the women fish a heck of a lot more than 5 tournaments.
